H&M makes major changes to its Sizing Policy

One of the most well known high-street fashion store will be making new changes to its sizing policy. Now we all know how no matter how many times we go to an H&M store we always find a or over 10 sizes out of their wide ranges of tops, jackets, or jeans. However trying to figure out the sizes may be a little out of hand sometimes, hence why H&M is changing their sizes.

The Swedish retailer is making major sizing changes to fit with its North American Market. As a shopper often we meet disparities in sizes whenever we go shopping or when travelling, in fact, often times a size 10 outfit made by an high end designer is always different from that made by a more affordable brand. So after all the complains by clients, especially one by a British shopper whose complaints went viral, H&M decided to make changes.

So what does this mean for customers?

Well it means that your new H&M size will be approximately one size smaller  than your current H&M size, so if you purchased a size 10 before, at H&M now , your size will be 8, If you originally wore size 16, it will now be a size 14. Meaning that this new size will accurately reflect both your American and European sizes. Other sizes that come in XS - XXL  like in lingerie, jeans, trousers , mens shoes, shoe sizes will also not be affected.

The new policy is already in place so please check your sizes when next you are in a store, also if you have items in your shopping bag update them.
