25 Good Reasons why you should watch the World Cup, even though you may not like Football.

Oh wow!! I cannot believe that the football season is here! For some weird reasons though, the football season this year is not so much celebrated like the norm. I am not sure if this is same for everyone but I get the feeling of this. Usually, there is a coherent razzmatazz that comes with the world cup. There is the usual adverts, the documentaries on the various televisions stations about the  host countries, the teams, the players......


hmmmmm, this one I often love because, you know my eyes are never sick from staring,  no scratch that, lets use, admiring, lool...... handsome beings and of course picking my favourite teams and players from them.

Now, you like me may be wondering why it seems a tad bit different this year, well, let's just say perhaps some changes happened during the host country's plans that did not favour them, maybe ... andddd, it may not be so again, but before I go ahead to give you some good reasons why you should watch the football this year, let me provide some information on this year's game.

The 2018 World Cup (Football aka Soccer) will be the 21st FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament contested by the men's national team who are members of FIFA. This year's event will be held in Russia, the famous country of Putin, and guess what?  It will be the first held in Europe since  Germany 2006 and the first ever to be held in Eastern Europe. The games will start from the 14th of June - 15 July, precisely 1 month of fun. 

So 25 good reasons why should you watch the games?

1. Because there will be loads of goals.
2. Because there will be fine and handsome  players on display .....hehehehe
3. For the goal feasts and excitement. You are allowed to shout even though you don't know what is going on or you just feel like letting out a buried shout...loool
4. Because of the beer and pubs.
5. Because of the Pizza, that you get to share with others
6. Because of the array of dessert tables while watching a match
7. Because you can take the opportunity to visit friends, even the ones you haven't seen in a long time. 
8. Because you get the chance to be patriotic with everyone else even in the midst of so many sad things and you can gladly and freely fly your national flag. 
9. Because you can all be watching same channels without distraction or bad scenes- kids inclusive.
10. Because you can use the time to sit on your best couch.
11. Because ... "its a match" 
12. Because the player's shorts will reveal  some really nice and well-sculptured butts, lol
13. Because you can find an inspiration for a haircut.
14. Because you get excited about nothing just to drive the good hormones down your spine.
15. Because you love to hear the commentators speak, especially when they pronounce names such as Jakub Blaszczykowoski.
16. Because 20 years after you can always remember this and share the tales with your kids or recall the history with other peers of that time.
17. Because it's an opportunity to travel to Russia.
18. Because Putin may force us all to watch it...lool.
19. Because we cannot escape the games, it's going to take over daytime TV.
20. Because you can buy a new television to watch a new game.
21. Because you get to bet and you win or lose.
22. Because its a time for football strategic discussion and everyone football lover is an expert.
23. Because you get to choose a new favourite player or a dream lover for the ladies...
24. Because you get an excuse to be up at odd hours of the day to watch the match.
25. Because you get to celebrate if your team wins.
