Travelling soon? 10 Tips on how to save money on small business trips

Hi guys, I know Business Trips are not easy and they can be quite expensive especially if you are a young entrepreneur and you are on a low budget. Here are some tips to help you save money for that trip.
The tips are on the next page.....

1. First things first, is accommodation, the best way to check for accommodation and get good prices is online. We are in the era of increasing web usage and apps such as TripAdvisor, Booking.com and many more. Also it is never a bad idea to call the hotel as you can often get them to give you a good deal better than what they have online or if you arrival and departure times are odd.

2. Travel in the first 3 months of the year (January, Febuary and March add April if you will) are wayyyy cheaper than other times in the year, they are the less expensive times to travel anywhere. At this time leisure travelers are back from the new year trips and they often avoid traveling in winter times and the airline tickets are very much affordable and less pricey.

3. Use your frequent flyer miles for expensive trips, if you haven't started collecting miles, you need to put this on your bucket list for this year and join the air miles gang. You can earn miles through your credit card purchases when you travel, check with your credit card providers for how to join the club for airlines, all you need is to sign upon their sites or at their desks at the airport.

4. Check airlines for morning offers, many airlines paste their available tickets on offer or discounted at nights, so when you see such offers in the mornings, make sure to book them as they may change during the day.

5. Make your bookings from 6 weeks earlier, you can get loads great discounts at this time.

6. Have a flexible flight dates that involves a weekend. Am sure most of you don't know this, but most airlines charge based on how many days or  weeks a passenger will stay at his/her destination. For with most airlines cheap flights are often obtainable when the passenger stays over a weekend on his or her trip as airlines paste huge discounts on Saturday nights.

7.  Social Media is the new tool for adverts now, so make sure to check Facebook and twitter especially for airline discounts through the airline's account and be sure to grab a chance fast because tickets can be sold out faster than you can imagine.

8. You want to make sure that you are familiar with the airline cancellation and change policies, because when on a business trip chances are that you may need to make a quick change. So get familiar with these changes so you don't loose your money.

9. Try flying different routes, that is use airlines that don't fly direct because they are often cheaper than those that do.

10. Make sure to negotiate thoroughly on local transportation in countries where are no paid meters in Taxi and use hotel taxis or shuttles, they are safer and after the first day, you can always negotiate payment with the driver personally for the rest of your trip.
