Kate Middleton: From Girl next door to a Real life Princess #Fashion Idol of the Month

The fairy tale story of Kate Middleton shocked the world with a mix reaction of both excitement and surprises. As a prince, Prince William of England, grandson of the country's Monarch Queen Elizabeth would have done nothing wrong if he had gone ahead to marry a cousin of his as the Royal tradition's culture or norm, but instead the studly young man went for the love of his life and close friestrond Kate Middleton, a girl who had no royal ties or backing - the girl next day.

As a Princess - Duchess of Cambridge, and soon to be mum, Kate Middleton is our Fashion Idol of the month. We take a look at her fashion transformation from the girl next door to the princess and wife to the second in line to the British Monarch throne Prince William - Duke of Cambridge.

Recently listed as the best dressed mum-to-be, Kate's fashion has transformed over the years since marrying Price William, she has become more of a trendsetter and strong dresser on the corridors of Royal power. Her exquisite fashion sense gives the allure and mixture of class and mystique that can only be found with certain kind of persons.

Princess Kate's style can be compared with fashion icons and trendsetters of their generation such as Princess Diana, Jackie O., Audrey Hepburn, yes Kate has reached that level. Just like Jackie O. was seen with matching skirt suits, A-line dress, kitten heels elbow-gloves came to be symbolised with Jackie O. in a her role as First Lady, similarly Kate sticks to classic fashion that would never go out of fashion wearing Matching suits, pumps, elegant hats and slim-fitting pants making her style timeless.

Just as Princess Diana who reflected her personality through her fashion style and her love for colours, she made laidback look elegant and transformed royal regal into something more modern and exceptionally inviting, so also has Kate who regulars flaunts herself in Emerald, Ruby, Saphire and many more jewel tones

Audrey Hepburn style was that of ease, her style was the type the everyday woman could adopt without much ado and that made all love her, and so has Kate Middleton with the exception of her Crown Jewels as a Princess of course.

One cannot but fail to mention Kate's flock of hair and the grace with which they adore her head and fall across her face flawlessly without much arrangement creating a 'princessy' feel to her style.

FASHION COUNSEL

  1. Its important to have a classic wear in any woman's wardrobe, they define who you are and who you present yourself to be.
  2. Choose colours that say something about you not just to complement your skin colour, if you are an outgoing person and boisterous choose the new loud neon colours but if you are genteel and mellow wear more pastels for a perfect fitting.
  3. Avoid trying to look perfect in an outfit all the time, go for those simple dresses, accessories, red lipsticks that can bring out the best in you for the best looks come easiest.
  4. Wear your hair in the simplest manner that best suits your facial structure and looks, avoid dodgy hair styles.
